MP’s Ngunjiri, Sudi claims Covid-19 is politicised.
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi and his Bahati Counterpart Kimani Ngunjiri wants Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe to come out clear about the increasing number of corona virus death cases in the Country.
Speaking in Eldoret, Ngunjiri said that top politicians are using the pandemic for their own political gain.
“I want Kagwe to tell us those who die of Tuberculosis, Asthma, HIV/AIDS because i know all these category have been included in corona virus death cases. One day the truth will be revealed” The MP said
Sudi claimed that the government was using the Coronavirus situation to play politics and scheme against the DP adding that the briefings by the Ministry of Health on Covid-19 may be politically motivated.
“We know there is corona but we want to be told the truth is it corona or politics? ” said Sudi adding that some are seeking to score political points amid the pandemic.
They urged the government to look for other ways and should not use corona virus for politics instead should come up with solutions to curb the virus.
He told off the top politicians who said are capitalising on the Covid-19 crisis to discredit their rivals and gain milleage to advance personal political agenda.
The two legislators however, asked kenyans to follow directives given by the government by embracing washing hands regularly with water and soap, sanitizing, keeping social distance,wearing mask most of all to stay at home.
