Get vaccinated before schools reopen, Chesumei MP tells teachers.

Chesumei MP Wilson Kogo has called upon teachers to take covid vaccines as they prepare to reopen school next week.

Speaking to Northrift mirror Kogo, who is in the education committee in Parliament said the Head teachers should ensure that the covid protocols are followed.

“The government should move with speed and ensure that all the front line workers including teachers and the non teaching staff get vaccinated,” said Kogo.


He said that the parents should be sure that those handling their children have already been vaccinated to reduce the risk of their children from getting infected with the covid disease.

“I want to ensure the teachers that I have also been vaccinated and I did not get any side effects at all. I urge all of you to be vaccinated especially those who are dealing with our children for safety of our children,” he said.
