Politicians asked to observe peace in politicking.

Aspirants vying for various political seats in Uasin Gishu County have been urged to observe peace even as the campaign period sets in.

Speaking in Soy Sub-County Uasin Gishu County Governor Jackson Mandago EGH, called on all aspirants gearing up for political positions to ensure they undertake their vote hunts in peace. The country is tuning up for 2022 general elections.

“Those looking for votes should woo their voters peacefully,” said Mandago.


He adds. “We don’t want to any chaos, always maintain peace since we as leaders have arrived to keep our county peacefully.”

The Uasin Gishu Governor who also doubles up as the chairman of North Rift Economic Bloc (NOREB), has always been peace crusader, being on the forefront in peace building along Baringo, Samburu and Pokot borders.
