Concentrate on your studies for a bright future, NOREB boss advises students.

Girls in schools have been advised to concentrate on their studies to excel and accomplish their dreams.

North Rift Economic Bloc (NOREB) Chief Executive Officer Dominic Biwott said girls who were focused in their studies were likely to succeed in life.

“Highly effective girls in school will be proactive in future. First things first, choose things that are important in life and leave other pursuits for later days,” Dr Biwott told school girls.

The NOREB boss was speaking to students of Our Lady of Peace Girls High School in Nandi Hills  sub-County during a thanksgivings ceremony.

Biwott was accompanied by Elgeyo Marakwet Subcounty director of education Hassan Evans and Nandi Hills NG-CDF chairperson Charles Kimtai.

Biwott said students had great potential to achieve greatness in future but temptations to pursue unnecessary things were threatening to undermine them.

“If you navigate through a clear path towards victory, you will definitely succeed. If you do the contrary, you will be doomed,” he told the students.
