Covid-19: Nandi county caseload rise to 13 after 2 more contract virus.
Nandi County Corona Virus caseload rose to 13 after confirmation of two new cases today.
According to Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, the two cases were all from Emgwen Sub-County.
Meanwhile Kenya’s COVID-19 infections rose to 18,581 after 606 more patients tested positive for the disease from 4,888 samples tested within the last 24 hours.
The 606 patients include 583 Kenyans and 23 foreigners, composed of 409 males and 197 females between 4 months to 85 years of old.
On a positive note, 75 patients have recovered from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries in the country so far to 7,908.
However, 14 more patients succumbed to the virus, raising fatalities in the country to 299.
The new cases were distributed in: Nairobi (448), Kiambu (54), Kajiado (25), Machakos (16), Uasin Gishu (11), Nakuru (11), Kericho (9), Busia (7), Mombasa (7), Garissa (6), Bomet (3), Nyeri (2), Narok (2), Nandi (2), Embu (1), Lamu (1), Murang’a (1).
