ELDORET,Kenya [source;PSCU, Kenya]; President-Uhuru Kenyatta attends the 2022 passing-out ceremony of the Kenya Defence Forces-KDF recruits at the Moi Barracks Recruits Training School (RTS) in Eldoret,Uasin Gishu county.

At the magnificent ceremony,also attended by the First Lady of the Republic of Kenya-Margaret Kenyatta and several senior government officials including Defence Cabinet Secretary-Eugene Wamalwa.

“Due to your records of delivering superb results,i have tasked the Kenya Defence Forces-KDF from time to time to take a valid charge of various strategic national programmes and even to rescue failing institutions”, President-Kenyatta said on Friday July 1,2022 in Eldoret,Kenya.

You did it with the revival of almost 600 kilometres of the dead Metre Guage in an impressive manner,a head of schedule and within the budget-Mr. President added to his statement at the Recruits Training School (RTS).
