Cherargei asks ICC to warn Kenya over state sponsored violence.

Nandi senator Samson Cherargei has called upon the International Criminal Court to warn Kenya against state sponsored violence against people who oppose individuals within the government.

Speaking in Sironoi Chesumei constituency at a fundraiser, Cherargei said the democracy of the people of Kenya had been reversed.

“I want to ask the interior CS Fred Matiangi and inspector general Hillary Mutyambai, let us stop weaponising police to fight political expediency, political competition because police are supposed to serve all Kenyans regardless who they are,” said Cherargei.

He said the more the government use Eacc, DCI, police government machinery to fight the deputy president the more the country is taken back.

Cherargei was accompanied by the area MP Wilson Kogo, Mosop MP Vincent Tuwei, and the area MCA where they vowed to go round the country to campaign for Deputy President William Ruto.
