MP to disburse Sh3.8 million-bursary.
Neeedy students have a reason to smile after Nandi County Woman Representative revealed plans to disburse Sh3.8 million for bursary.
The legislator Dr Tecla Tum said 380 students will benefit from the money.
“I have given out bursary money, I was given 3.8 million shillings for bursary i am targeting 380 students, today I have given out 190 thousand for 19 students,” said Tum.
Citing recent incidences where some students have allegedly attacked school staff, Tum asked learners to be discipline and show respect.
The county women Rep was speaking in Namgoi where she was giving the bodaboda riders a washing machine.
“So far I have bought 12 machine to empower youth groups across the county and I want to urge the youths to save money for developments,” she said.
