Family of four buried alive in Elgeyo Marakwet landslide.
Four people are reported to have died after they were buried alive in a landslide in Marakwet East, Elgeyo Marakwet County following heavy rains.
Witnesses said a father, his wife and his two children were buried alive by the debris in their house.
Kenya Red Cross, Police and disaster management staff from Elgeyo Marakwet county are currently helping in the recovery exercise.

The Kenya Meteorological Department named Elgeyo Marakwet among the regions where torrential rainfall is expected.
Others counties in North Rift include; Nandi, Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gishu.
