Business came into a standstill in Eldoret town after Uasin Gishu bodaboda Chairman Abraham Murgor was found murdered at his residence in Ilula and his body thrown in maize plantation.
The body was found this morning with deep cuts in legs, hands and neck, and his eyes were gouged out an incident which prompted the irate bodaboda riders in Eldoret town to demonstrate where police officers were forced to use tear gas to disperse them.
According to the bodaboda deputy chairman Oscar Shikanga, the late Ibrahim Murgor was in good health yesterday and until his demise they did not know what could have happened until early this morning when his lifeless body was found outside his house.
Bodaboda riders are crying for justice since they also fear for their lives adding that they are yet to come to terms with the death of their colleague.
They appealled to police officers to expedite the investigations and bring the killers to book.
The cause of his brutal murder has not yet been established since the killers did not steal anything from him.
His body has been taken to Moi Teaching and refferral hospital mortuary.
