A samaritan joins government in ensuring 100% transition policy succeeds.

A 16-years old boy finally joined form one courtesy of a good Samaritan who paid his school fees in Nandi hills.

Brian Kipchumba had something to smile about when a businessman, Robert Chepkwony stepped in and enable him to proceed with his high school education after his parents did not afforded to offset school fees for their first born son.

Brian, who dreams to be an engineer in future is a among a section of unprivileged children supported through various scholarships in the region and it took longer before he secured sponsorship, one month later after rest of form ones have reported to the respective schools.


Robert, commonly known as 50/50 apart from promising to pay Brian’s school from form one to four, he also facilitated for his personal effects amounting to over Sh. 20, 000 including basic necessities.

“I decided to assist this student just to give back what the community gave me while I was young. People contributed for my school feers and it’s the reason I am here today, proudly beneficiary of the harrambes of parents did for me to aquire education,” he stated.

He called upon all the leaders to support children from the humble background through community Development Funds (CDF) and county busaries.
