Buzeki promise to bring equality among residents should he be elected.

Uasin Gishu Gubernatorial candidate Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop alias Buzeki has pledged to focus on bringing equality and social development of county residents should he win the August 9, election.

Buzeki said that he will ensure he delivers during his regime as expected by his supporters promising to prioritize the empowerment of the disadvantaged in the society.

Speaking during his rally at Chebarus and Chepkanga in Turbo and Moiben sub-counties respectively, Buzeki said that his administration will consider all people adding that he will follow the constitution in addressing issues affecting the youths, women and people living with disabilities across the county.


“We shall adhere to the constitution’s provision of 5% employment of people with disabilities. We shall ensure implementation of 30% procurement provisions for our women,” said Buzeki.

The businessman stated that the big population of people in the country are youths adding that some of them have indulged themselves in drug abuse and robbery which has led to Insecurity adding that he will create employment for them to address the cases of insecurity which is caused by idleness and also the current economy.

He indicated that the aged will not be left behind. He will ensure they get stipends and other services from his government.

“We commit to having an annual senior citizens’ governor’s roundtable. We shall coordinate and support the senior citizens to access government stipends and other support services. For the senior citizens who are yet to be registered, we shall bring them on board and backdate their payments because they deserve the best in life,” Buzeki noted.

In his campaign manifesto he also promised that the elderly will no longer be neglected adding that identification cards will be delivered to them to ensure they enjoy some county services free of charge which will incorporate free parking.

“The delivery unit will also be charged with providing identification cards for senior citizens in the county to access priority service and free parking. At no given time should our able elders suffer neglect,” said Buzeki
