Serve all Kenyans without bias Governor Sang tells police.

Nandi Governor Stephen Sang has asked police to serve all Kenyans without bias and discrimination.

Sang said police had started acting inappropriately during campaigns and elections saying they were being influenced by politics.

Speaking in Kapsabet during a fundraiser for Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Sang accused security apparatus of being mobilise against certain political alignments.


“Security agencies are supposed to be neutral and protect each Kenyans irrespective of their political participation,” observed Sang.

Sang said if what was witnessed in the by elections on Thursday continues then the country is going on the wrong direction.

“Those politicians should be held accountable so that the country cannot face tremendous challenges in th 2022 elections,” said Sang.

He urged the police officers not to allow themselves to be misused adding that politicians can move to other countries and leave them if chaos erupt.

“Don’t allow yourselves to be misused If things get worse in the country, the politicians will leave the country and abandon us because they have diplomatic passports,” He said.

He cautioned political leaders and top state officials against misusing their powers.
