Kesses MP Mishra distributes free certified seeds and fertilizers to over 2,000 Women in his constituency.

Over 2,000 Women in Kesses constituency today received free certified seeds and fertilizers to plant during this pandemic period courtesy of MP Mishra Agri-business support initiative which is aimed at enhancing continuous food supply in the region.

Speaking during the first phase of distribution at Cheptiret-Kipchamoo Ward, Mishra said the vegetables seeds will help women equip their Kitchen gardens and be self sufficient in the wake of Corona Virus Pandemic.

“The effects of Covid-19 are already felt and it might be worse in the long run, that is why we need to empower our people so that they can be self sufficient” said Dr Mishra

The legislature further said they have partnered with various agricultural extension officers to ensure that every beneficiary gets adequate training and support.
