Vulnerable families to get food and other essentials in Nandi hills ward.

Nandi Hills Member of County Assembly Gideon Koech has launched a program of distributing food and other essentials to the less privileged and vulnerable families as the country fights Covid-19 pandemic.

The program launched on Monday targets over 100 families identified by Kipkimba and Chebarus Cooperatives courtesy of Taylors and Harrogate through Nandi Tea Company.

Koech who has been at the forefront in pushing multinational companies to engage in Corporate Social Responsibility urged other willing partners to extend a helping hand during the pandemic.

“As we launch the distribution of food to vulnerable groups within Nandi hills constituency, I want to urge all other stakeholders and well wishers to assist this families especially during this pandemic period,” said Koech.
