Uasin gishu farmers to reap more through Agricultural Disruptive Technology.

Uasin Gishu County farmers will now have an improved way of farming after the County Government in collaboration with Kenya Climate-Smart Agriculture Project (KCSAP) yesterday, conducted a training session for agricultural stakeholders in the county at the Teachers Advisory Center (TAC).

The training is aimed at equipping the farmers with different techniques on farming and how to acquire information that will better their farming activities in both livestock and crop productivity.

“We will support this project through the transformation from analog to the digital provision of services and this shall ensure that farmers get access to information in time”, said CECM Samwel Yego.

Present were COs Julius Rotich (Agriculture), Dr.Victoria Tarus (Livestock) Directors Simon Lang’at (Agriculture), Dr.Philip Biyama(Veterinary) and Cosmas Langat(KCSAP).
