Uasin gishu elders criticise Atwoli over his utterance on DP Ruto.

A section of  elders from Uasin Gishu have criticised trade Unionist Francis Atwoli over his usual utterrance on Deputy President William Ruto’s terming the utterance as being disrespectful.

Led by Kalenjin, Kikuyu and Somali communities representatives, the elders who were speaking in Eldoret said that Atwoli’s utterance are divisive asking him to tread carefully since he is creating political tension in the country.

“Atwoli’s utterance is likely to derail peace which is currently experienced in the country. We want Atwoli to explain what he meant when he said that the Deputy President will not be in the ballot in 2022” they said

The Uasin Gishu elders accused Atwoli of peddling lies against DP asking him to tame his toungue and concentrate on the welfare of workers since it his his responsibility and to respect the deputy president.

This comes after Atwoli angrily throws away his phone when he was addressing journalists in his office criticising the DP for claiming that he was not aware of Echesa and the foreigners’ visit to his office.
