In a bid to intervene on Corvide 19 virus famously known as corona virus outbreak the Department of Health Services, Uasin Gishu County has constituted a rapid response team to handle any case that might arise relating to the same.
The Department of Health Services has also set aside a facility to serve as a reference point for _corona virus_ related cases. The facility has been fully staffed and equipped with pharmaceuticals and non pharmaceuticals to help intervene on any Corvide 19 cases.
Health Services Acting Chief Officer Kenneth Mbeka has urged the public to wash their hands with soap and water frequently, cover coughs and sneezes and maintain general hygiene to prevent any infections.
The public are urged to watch out on symptoms like fever above 38 degrees Celsius, sour throat and difficulty in breathing that requires hospitalization.
