Tension as marauding Lion roam Uasin gishu villages.

The Kenya Wildlife services (KWS) has been alarmed after marauding lion attacked and killed livestock in Kapkoiga village Moiben, Uasin Gishu County.

Locals who are now living in fear have decried impending danger, calling authorities to tame the animal before the situation gets out of hand.

“As residents of Kapkoiga village we are now living in fear since we are continuing to lose our animals, and despite us hearing our animals being attacked, it is hard for us to go outside since we might lose our lives. We need the government to help us,” Timon Too a resident of Kapkoiga told the reporters on Friday

Too said they are now forced to come home early since they fear being attacked by the stray lion.

KWS have so far set traps around Kruger farm and Jamii forest in Sergoit to help them capture the stray Lion said to be roaming the area.
