Support the recent elected leaders and accept defeat, UDA aspirants told.

Former Emgwen aspirant Raymond Kiplimo conceded the defeat and urged other candidates that lost nomination to support those who won various political positions in Nandi.

Kiplimo, who contested in the recently concluded United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party primaries, urged those who failed to clinch elective seats to consider supporting winners for peace and unity of the community ahead of the general election scheduled for August 9th,2022.

“What the UDA party stands for is unity. We are moving forward as a team for another challenge and we shall join the presidential campaigns rooting for Deputy President William Ruto presidency,” he stated.


He also condemned the chaos that erupted in Emgwen constituency tallying center, urging the youths to be political tolerant and ensure that they are not used by politicians to cause unrest within the county.

“Youths should desist from fracas during electioneering period an instead play a key role in voting for development oriented leaders in the country,” he further stated.

Kiplimo, who lost in parliamentary nomination to Engineer Josses Lelmengit, urged the UDA leaders not to appeal as independent candidates and instead stick to the UDA party for any appointment or nomination slots.

“It’s time to come be united and not divided. We need each other for the sake of the task ahead of us. Let’s put our political differences aside and unite for the greater success,” said Kiplimo.
