Stop using demonstrations for your selfish interest, Raila warned.

A section of Nandi leaders have warned the Raila Odinga-led alliance against organizing a destructive demonstration to the State House, claiming to be malicious attempts to antagonize the security team. They termed the opposition movement’s intention as a ‘daring act’ to cause mayhem in the country and eventually lead to loss of lives.

The Kenya Kwanza legislators led by Nandi senator, Kiprotich Cherargei and Mp Josses Lelmengit (Emgwen) accused Raila for what they claimed to be attempting to blackmail President William Ruto’s administration forselfish gains.

“I want to assure Raila that there will be no a grand coalition government. He used the sametactics during President Moi’s regime and he was given a job, he did the same to President Kibaki and he shared power as well as in the handshake government. This time you will not get away with your plans.” Said Cherargei.

He blamed the former President Uhuru Kenyatta for sponsoring the Azimio la Umoja demonstration and urged him to retire peacefully from politics. Mp Lelmengit averred that Raila is a democrat and he should demonstrate by accepting the 2022 presidential election outcome after losing.

“Raila Odinga has come of age and he should exit the political arena peacefully. He should mentor budding leaders and offer them leadership skills on how to steer the country to prosperity,” he stated.

Speaking in Kapsabet while issuing Sh. 47 Million school bursaries to over 6,000, he affirmed that President Ruto cannot be intimated and he will continue delivering to Kenyans by fixing the ailing economy.End.
