Uasin Governor Jackson Mandago has cheerled other leaders in undercoring political respect with two years to the general election.
Mandago said it is paramount for all political leaders especially from Rift Valley to respect Deputy President Dr William Ruto.
Speaking in Kapseret on Friday, Mandago said anyone with varied opinion on Dr Ruto’s state house 2022 race should not present their views in a way that disrespects the second in command.
Also, Mandago said the region will offer unwavering support for the former Eldoret North MP as he guns up to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.
Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi also corroborated Mandago’s sentiments.
Kenya’s ambassador to Pakistan, Prof Julius Bittok, politicians Jonathan Bii, Kiprop Bundotich and Chebichii Lelei and a host of MCAs were in attendance.
