With only four days to the General Election, a section of youth from the northrift region are leaving nothing to chance and are urging residents to turn out en masse to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Samoei Ruto.
Led by there Leader, Mr. Silas Tanui the youths, under the North Rift Youth Jubilee brigade banner, have criss-crossed Uasin gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, Nandi , Trans nzoia and Baringo counties calling for 100 per cent voter turn-out.
The youths warned the residents that poor turn-out would give the Opposition victory.
They cited Jubilee Administration plans and achievements like implementing the free maternity program, free primary and secondary education program, last mile connectivity project, building roads and hospitals among other projects in the region.
“We must come out in in large numbers to have a resounding victory for President Uhuru, so he can complete the projects he had initiated in our region,” said Bob Tanui one of the youth from Ainabkoi sub-county.
The youth hope that the high turnout would ensure the President Uhuru Kenyatta’s resounding victory after the supreme court nullification of the August 8 elections .
They also asked the Opposition to stop sideshows and excuses and instead allow Kenyans to hold peaceful election and continue with development.
