NOREB donates face masks and water boot to aid the fight against Covid-19.

North Rift Economic Bloc (NOREB) has donated equipments to aid the fight against the spread of Covid-19 in northrift region.

After making similar donations in other areas, on Tuesday, NOREB donated more than 2000 facemasks in Kapsabet town and also stationed a modern water boot at the market in partnership with Kerio Valley Development Authority(KVDA).

Speaking when he handed over the equipment, NOREB Chief Executive Officer Dominic Biwott asked locals to maintain good hygiene even after the pandemic has been contained in the country.

“The issue of hygiene should stretch beyond Covid-19. Good hygiene helps in preventing other infections including typhoid and amoeba,” said Dr Biwott.

Biwott said that despite the fact that the pandemic has not been reported in Nandi County, it was wise to exercise preventive measures.

Biwot was accompanied by cec health Ruth Koech who applauded Noreb for assisting in fight against the disease together with other county officials.
