Nandi: Police investigating murder as one victim recovers.

Police in Nandi County are investigating an incident where one person was killed and another seriously injured.

Police say the deceased and the survivor, who is currently receiving treatment at Kapsabet County Referral Hospital, were bearing deep wounds suspected to have been inflicted using sharp objects.

The two were allegedly attacked along Mosoriot Kapsabet road on Friday night.

Speaking to journalist Chesumei Sub county police Commander Bosita Omukolongolo said police were investigating the matter even as he advised locals to be careful when out of their homes at night.

“A report was registered in our police station this morning to the effect that somebody was found murdered. The officers proceeded to the scene and confirmed the same,” said Omukolongolo.
