Nandi: Parents urged to embrace CBC.

Government has urged the parents to embrace the new education reforms on Competence Based Curriculum ( CBC) policies set to better learning process for their children.

The Cabinet Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Ministry of Education State Department and Early Learning Dr. Sarah Rutto, called upon the guardians to adopt the new education reforms tailored to enhance the child’s competancy, character and creativity.

“CBC is an education game changer that engage the learners with parents, the community and and teachers. It provides a competitive education across the country which is good for our children,” she said.


She further said that “there should be a conversation about the CBC for an inclusive participation and despite the implementation hiccups, the reforms have more good than disadvantages,”

Chesumei Mp Dr. Hon. Wilson Kogo who is also a member of education paliamentary committee assured the executive support in approval of annual funds set to facilitated the implementation of the CBC projects in the country.

“I want to appreciate the government for the support they are giving its citizens. My constituency is set to benefit with the 38 classes to be constructed to enhance the rolling out of the CBC learning programs,” said Mp Kogo.
