Nandi hills MP Kitur demands KNEC to release Samoei boys results.
Nandi hills MP Bernard Kitur want the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) to release KCSE results for Samoei Boy’s high school.
While addressing the media shortly after the Minister for education Ezekiel Machogu announced the 2023 national examination results, he question the grounds in which 295 students did not received their results in the examination body portal.
“There was no even a single case of cheating during administration of exams last year, supervision was top-notch. Also the KNEC officials and supervisors did not report any malpractices incidents,” he stated.
Mp Kitur said KNEC has poor examination system and that technical errors have failed thousands learners.
” Why did they announce the results in the first place and how did they resolve to release KCSE results without resolving those glaring errors?” he posed, claiming that it left the parents worried over the fate of their children as the responsible body failed to issue explanation.
He further urged that the KNEC would have meticulously managed the examination process and investigate questionable results to finality before unveiling.
” Samoei Boy’s is an institution of integrity and since its inception, it has never been involve in exam malpractices. It will be good if KNEC will give an explanation over the missing KCSE results to clear the air and ease tension among the parents and their children,” Mp Kitur appealed.
