Keses Member of Parliament Swarup Mishra has vowed to campaign for President Uhuru Kenyatta, door to door, to ensure he is reelected on October 17.
He said they want to show the opposition leaders that President Uhuru Kenyatta won the August 8 elections fairly.
“As Jubilee party elected members we were not happy with the Supreme Court’s verdict but we will lobby our supporters to turn up 100 percent for him to be reelected. It is not the supreme court that chooses leaders but wanachi,” he said in Eldoret town, Monday.
“We will ensure that over 100,000 voters in Uasin Gishu county who did not vote do so.This time President Kenyatta will make history of gathering 70+1 votes. We want to give Raila Odinga a thorough beating for him to retire from active politics.” he added.
He, however, warned Kenyans against voting for the opposition leader Raila Odinga since Kenyans will be forced to go into a third election since he will be impeached.
“How will he run the country yet we have majority MCAs, MP’s, Senators and governors. In less than three months he will be out due to impeachment,” noted Mishra.
He urged Uasin Gishu county residents to rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta by voting for him come October 17.
