Kesses Constituency Strategic plan and mega development projects are set to be launched on Friday in an event expected to be attended by local and international leaders.

The launch will see area Member of Parliament Mishra Kiprop unveil his constituency projects including giving 100 cows to women and issuance of driving licenses to 230 youths.

700 young persons are also set to be enrolled at Eldoret National Polytechnic to pursue different courses.

Among the guests expected at a much publicised event to be held at Eldoret Sports Club are high commissioner of India to Kenya Mr. Rahul Chhabra of India and speaker of senate H.E Hon. Ken Lusaka.

Also senator  Elgeyo marakwet and majority leader of the senate Hon. Kipchumba Murkomen, Cabinet secretary Energy Hon. Charles Keter and Uasin Gishu Governor Hon. Jackson Mandago are listed as among the guest attendants.

As the clock ticks, locals are anxiously waiting.

Mishra has been giving out cows to locals as part of pledge he made when he sought the legislative post in the previous elections.

” I want to welcome everyone to attend since this is not a political function. All I want to work and improve the developments in my constituency ” Mishra said.
