Kapsabet Boys High School has emerged third nationally in the 2020 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results released on Monday.
The county branded as “the source of champions” for producing top athletes hit the headlines on Monday when the national school was ranked position two after 61 candidates scored a mean grade of A plain.
There were also 134 and 92 candidates who garnered A minus and B plus respectively.
The school principal Kipchumba Maiyo could not hide his joy after the results were released saying discipline and hard work from his 352 candidates as well as a dedicated team of staff led to the good results.
“The best boy from this region was number seven nationally and also we had another one at top 15, and one under age,” said Maiyo.
