KANU party has advised ward representatives of Nandi county to approve the constitutional amendment bill.
Kanu officials from the county told MCA’s that the proposed changes created through the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) were beneficial to Kenyans.
Addressing the media on Monday in Kapsabet, Simon Ngeny Murkelda, the party officials asked MCA’s not to be misled into rejecting the document.
“I’m urging our people of Nandi to support the BBI because we have enough reasons to support it.
BBI will enhance development due to release of resources,” he said.
The officials also urged the residents of Nandi to be accommodative to all leaders and aspirants as they share there views.
“I’m calling upon our Nandi people in Nandi county to listen to every political leader, any other leader or aspirant is most welcome to Nandi,” said former councillor Kilach.
They said that they do not want to be left out as other counties develop.
