Is Allan Kosgey eyeing to unseat Governor Sang?

Allan Kosgey has kept residents and political pundits in Nandi guessing on his political moves.

But according to local sources, the Nairobi based lawyer  has indicated that he will be vying for the Nandi gubernatorial seat in 2022.

His recent moves and behaviors within the county clearly indicates that he is determined to clinch the county’s top seat in 2022 either by wallet or by votes.

Allan Kosgei who is the son of long-serving Tindiret politician Henry Kosgei ,unsuccessfully vied for Kesses Member of Parliament seat in 2017 despite his well oiled campaign.

The philanthropic lawyer has in the recent past seen  attending  various initiatives including youth empowerment and social functions in the county.

Kosgey’s  close confidants have also hinted his presence at the ballot and it is clear that no business will be as usual.

“Allan Kosgei can be felt all over across Nandi County and he is going to to be the next governor. We are determined and ready to support him as youths for the betterment of Nandi County,” one resident posted in a local whats app group.

Several leaders have been rumored to be eying to unseat Governor Sang among them Aldai MP Cornel Serem and his Nandi Hills counterpart Alfred Keter as well as Senator Samson Cherargei.
