DP Ruto allies oppose building bridges initiatives.

Leaders allied to Deputy President William Ruto have criticized the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI)saying it was misplaced.

Uasin gishu Women Rep Gladys boss shollei said constitutional change was a sensitive matter to be left to a partisan entity of BBI.

“Those supporting BBI are taking Kenya for a ride. If you were to relook at the constitution you should go back to the archives and listen to the audios from different people of Kenya and listen to what Kenya’s wants to change in the constitution.” said Shollei.

Uasin governor Jackson mandago said that as governors they will not accept BBI or punguza mizigo instead they will form their own dubbed “ugatuzi” so that money is allocated to counties.

The leaders were speaking at ACK st. Luke Cheptiret, in a fundraising of five churches organised by Kesses member of Parliament Hon. Mishra Kiprop.

Deputy President William Ruto who was at the event steered out of politics and urged leaders to work together and ensure that they deliver to all adding that his work is to ensure Kenya’s development.
