DCI officers impound expired animal feeds, human drugs and agro chemicals in Eldoret.

Officers drawn from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the National Police Service and Kenya Revenue Authority have seized expired drugs, animal feeds and angro chemicals at a house in Kasarani Estate in Eldoret.

The multi-agency team which was acting on a tip off from members of the public stormed the home of Dominic Mwangi Karanja where they recovered the expired goods together with machines used for repackaging, assorted farm impliments, plastic containers containing lab chemicals and empty sachets.

“Officers acting on a tip off from members of the public have early this moring gained entry and searched the home of one Dominic Mwangi Karanja at Kasarani Estate, Langas area in Eldoret,” read a statement from the DCI.


The officers have also sealed off  and secured an agrovet shop within Eldoret town which is connected to this syndicate.

According to the DCI, two other suspects namely Benard Rono and Kezia Wanjiru Thuo have also been arrested and are helping police with investigations.
