Day schools to get face-lift, says Nandi Hills MP.
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has promised to improve infrastructure in day secondary schools in his constituency to make them more competitive.
Keter said with adequate funding and facilitation, day schools had equal potential with national schools in Kenya.
The MP said more classrooms, well equipped laboratories and libraries in schools across all the four wards in his constituency would be provided through NGCDF to make learning more conducive for learners.
“Students in day school should have no reason to fail. What National schools have must also be provided in day schools, if it means buying school bus to them after equipping the infrastructure I am ready”
He was speaking in Nandi Hills Constituency NG-CDF office where he issued cheques to more than 50 primary and secondary schools to facilitate improvement of their infrastructure.
So far, Keter, through NGCDF, has delivered seven school buses to day schools including Tigityo, Kapkoros, Taboiyat, Kosoywo, Kaptien, Sirwa and Ollessos Day Secondary schools.
