A section of youth who carried out the digitization of the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government’s Civil Registry records exercise in Nandi County have protested the delay in payment of their dues by the Nandi County Civil Registrar four months after the exercise despite the release of the funds by the government.
The over 90 former officials who include Data Entry and Verification clerks lament that officials at the Nandi Civil Registry office has been taking them round in circles without fulfilling their promises.
The officials wonder how their colleagues in other counties have already been paid while they are still waiting for their dues.
