On sunday Governor Mandago took his reelection campaign to Kapsoya ward in Ainabkoi sub-county.
During the tour he spelled out his comprehensive development agenda to continue with the transformation that he began in Uasin Gishu County.
The county chief said that the County Government of Uasin Gishu has collaborated with a foreign partner to establish a Ksh 100 million market in Munyaka,Ainabkoi Sub-County.
Governor Jackson Mandago disclosed that his government has partnered with European Union to establish what is most likely be Kenya’s biggest market.
Speaking during visits to Munyaka and Kapsoya, Mandago said works on the project will begin anytime.
The project will sit on a 6-acre piece of public land in Munyaka Centre.
The County chief said the contractor has already been awarded tender.
He also said his government will construct a market in Kapsoya Grounds, a public land in the area. He said works will begin before end of the year.
Governor Mandago also revealed that his administration together with other development partners, are constructing two huge water projects in Elgarini and Two River in Naiberi that will see the area served with clean water, ather than the area will be connected to the main sewer line and all the main roads upgraded to bitumen standards.
The Governor also champion for peaceful coexistence by urging Uasin Gishu County constituents to dessist from hearsay in order to uphold peace.
He fellowshiped with worshippers of Kapsoya Catholic, Munyaka PCEA and PAG church Munyaka as he toured Kapsoya estate, Silas and Munyaka with a message of peaceful campaigns as well as convincing residents to vote him back.
