CALL FOR PUBLIC PARTICIPATION ON BUDGET ESTIMATES FY 2017/2018.

Previous public participation on Budget estimates 2016/2017
Pursuant to article 201(a) of the Constitution of Kenya and Provision of sections 125 (2) of the public Management Act 2012 which requires public participation in the budget process and consultation by the county government on all matters relating to Financial Management the county government of uasingishu through the department of Finance & planning will hold public participation on proposed Estimates for FY 2017/2018 on 9th March starting at 10 am as stated below:

  • Ainabkoi/Olare ward-wainifor center
  • Kaptagat-Naiberi center.
  • Kapsoya- Kapsoya chief’s office.
  • Tarakwa-Kondoo/Koiwarusu chief’s office.
  • Tulwet/Chuiyat-Kesses center.
  • Race course- Race course primary school.
  • Ngeria-Kipsamoo center.
  • Langas-Langas primary school.
  • Kipkenyo- Kipkarenn youth polytechnic.
  • Kapseret- Kapseret center.
  • Megun ward-Kabongwa center.
  • Kapkures- Chukura center.
  • Huruma- Huruma P.C.E.A Church/hall.
  • Kiplombe – Sigawet/Baharini.
  • Ngenyilel- Kapteldon primary school.
  • Town Hall.
  • Meibeki/Karuna- Karandil chief’s office.
  • Moiben – Moiben center.
  • Tembelio- Koitoror.
  • Sergoit- Chepkanga center.
  • Kimumu- Ainabtich p.school
  • Cheptiret/Kipchamo-St.Thomas Catholic Church.
  • Kuinet/Kapsuswa- Sogomo/ Fadhili center.
  • Soy- Sinonin primary school.
  • Barsombe – Kiborokwo primary school.
  • Ziwa – Ziwa sirkwa Catholic Church.
  • Kipsombe- Tarakwa chief’s office.
  • Moi’s Bridge- Moi’s Bridge chief’s office.
  • Tapsagoi- Turbo center.
  • Kapsaos – Kabiemit chief’s office.
  • Kamagut- Jua Kali center.

The participation shall be through oral and written submission in schedule form to be held in wards.Written submission can be made through : coplanning@uasingishu.go.ke

Leads to better alignment of public needs with the choices of government officials.

Leads to more equitable distribution of resources.

Reduces corruption

Builds the legitimacy and credibility of government.

Ensures support of government programmes through citizen ownership.

Encourages citizens to pay taxes.

Encourages investors to commit funds.
