Buzeki man to beat in race to succeed Mandago—Poll.

Mombasa Based Businessman Zedekiah Bundotich would be elected as Uasin Gishu County Governor if Elections were held today.

According to a research conducted by Trends & Insights International company in the months of May -July 2021, Buzeki would garner 29.16% of the votes ahead of Amb. Julius Bitok at 26%. Longtime Kanu Politician Jonathan Bii came third at 25.33% with Soy Legislator Caleb Kositany coming at a distant 4th with only 16%. Other candidates plus undecided voters were 3.16%.

The research interviewed 3,113 people from the 30 wards of the county.

In the 2017 elections, Buzeki narrowly lost to current Governor Jackson Mandago who will not be contesting after serving for his two terms.
